Biography:

I am a civilian Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer on a mission to help first responders optimize performance, recover faster, and enjoy long, healthy retirements. With a background in wellness and graphic design, I lead engaging health campaigns tailored specifically for first responders.

First responders face unique health challenges, inspiring me to develop targeted, realistic solutions throughout their careers. I excel at translating complex health information into manageable lifestyle changes that accommodate their unpredictable schedules.

My dedication to understanding the first responder lifestyle has led to success with CPAT participants, recruits, incumbents, and leadership. Through my health coaching, participants have achieved significant results, including an average weight loss of 14 pounds, up to 8% body fat reduction, and a 30-point decrease in cholesterol. Additionally, my recruit nutrition curriculum has effectively eliminated rhabdomyolysis and hydration-related injuries in the past five recruit classes.

I believe in a ‘boots on the ground’ approach to wellness, having trained for and passed CPAT myself. I am always eager for a ride-along or fitness challenge and frequently visit stations or academies to teach nutrition, fitness, mobility, or simply to learn more about firefighters.

Currently, I am working full-time with Fairfax County Fire and Rescue in Virginia, providing freelance counseling and presentations while remaining open to new challenges.”
